In the past you would watch movies – either at the cinema or on DVD’s. TV series were not as popular. Partly, because there were not many of them and even then, the vast majority was of low quality. However, things are changing – today instead of watching a movie we prefer a cozy night with a good series. The choice is almost unlimited. We would like to present you with a list of the most popular ones – just in case one day you lack in plans for the afternoon.
Humor
Comedy series are probably the best choice for a lazy evening after a long day of hard work. They enable you to fully relax and more often than not they are able to cheer you up. ‘Friends’ is definitely a classic comedy series, beloved by almost every person on the planet. Even though the series is not the newest option available, it still is up to date. Six friends and their adventures have stolen hearts of millions of people around the world. Despite the lack of new episodes some of the scenes and dialogues and remembered till this day. In a similar way came about such series as ‘How I Met Your Mother’ or ‘The Big Bang Theory’. All of them show lives of a group of friends and all of them are gaining popularity to this day.
Gory
The equally wide selection of titles awaits for people who from time to time like to get the adrenaline flowing. TV series such as ‘The Walking Dead’ or ‘Stranger Things’ are the perfect option for all those gory lovers. The first one tells a story about an epidemic which turns people into zombies and very quickly spreads around the world. The plot focuses on a group of people, who try to survive a zombie apocalypse under a constant threat of attacks. The second one is a pretty recent, sci-fi production about a mysterious disappearance of a young boy. The last one of is one of the biggest hits of all time – ‘Game of Thrones’, an adaptation of an iconic saga by R.R. Martin.
Mystery
Titles such as ‘Hannibal’ or ‘Sherlock’ are all about the curiosity of the viewer to unravel the mystery – which is why they are so addictive.
